STRAIGHT JOURNALISM:

SPANNING TIME:

i took my dog "for a ride"
and then made him sit in the driveway with me
listening to "redemption song."
i said
sit still
and stay quiet long enough
for me to finish
anthropomorphizing
you. and he did.

dogs really are so much
like little people,
covered in autism
and hair.
